GeneCoda® Managing Director Addresses UNC’s Department of Genetics

GeneCoda® managing director Don Alexander recently presented a seminar entitled “Career Conversion” to graduate students and others at UNC’s Department of Genetics.

Topics covered in the seminar included translational skills, the drug development industry’s job market evolution over the past decade, alternative career paths for scientists, technical and soft skills in demand in 2019 and those forecast to be in demand for the foreseeable future.  Job search strategy, career development and tools used in the job search process were also discussed.
